Moyse Tutoring
Su is a dedicated and knowledgeable educator, who makes every effort to ensure her teaching is creative, innovative and relevant. She has over 20 years experience as both a secondary school teacher and tutor.
Su trained as a secondary school teacher at the Institute of Education (University of London) and earned her Master’s in teaching and learning at the University of British Columbia. After living in Vancouver, Canada, she has recently settled on the west coast of Scotland.
Su’s approach to tutoring is centred on the needs of the individual student. It may be that they struggle with a particular subject or have a demanding project to complete. Or that they are preparing for further education, or need help composing an essay. Some need a couple of sessions, some require several more. But all need a skilled tutor who will come alongside them and provide the support they are looking for.

Moyse Tutoring is named in memory of Gweneth Moyse: a kind-hearted advocate, magical educator and much-missed Auntie.
“We are exploring together. We are cultivating a garden together, backs to the sun. The question is a hoe in our hands and we are digging beneath the hard and crusty surface to the rich humus of our lives.”
